Give Me A "G"...Give Me An "O", What Does That Spell?

It spells our new "GO" Outreach on Thursday nights! Our church is real excited over this new outreach ministry we have started, and I can't blame them! What a blessing it has been, to me as a pastor, to see people getting excited over ministering to others and reaching them for Christ. That is what Christianity is all about. To also help with outreach, we have some special events coming up that are very exciting. Our Homecoming is May 17. We have some special music along with a Bar-B-Q afterwards. Then, on June 7, we will be having "Help For The Hurting" Sunday with our special guest, Bro. John Bishop. You do NOT want to miss that Sunday! If you are a member of Community Baptist Church, let me encourage you to make sure you not only attend each of our special events throughout the summer, but invite someone to come with you. You may not realize this, but the last two people we've seen saved here at church came because someone invited them. Sometimes that is all it takes. I really believe if we will do OUR part, God will do HIS part!
