My Gender, My Choice?

I do not know if you saw the Fox News report of the second grade boy who told his parents that he wanted to go to school dressed like a girl. I could not believe my ears. Of course, if you are one of the social "elite" who pride yourself on forcing everyone else to accept your bizarre and unnatural whims then you are in luck because there are no shortage of parents, teachers and even judges who are more than willing to cater to these sinful and ungodly behaviors. My first thought was the same as the reporter doing the story which was, "So what, the boy wanted to dress like a girl? Are we now allowing children to do everything they want just because it is their desire?" Since when did we start letting children, who should not even be sexual beings at that age to begin with by the way, dictate what they would and would not do. I remember wanting to do some things in school, too, like lean my chair back on the back two legs or chew gum in class but I was rightly told by the teachers that I was there to learn, not to teach. This child was there to learn, but instead has become the teacher; teaching us that we live in a society too scared to say "No, you can’t do that" because to do so would be to impose a moral judgement and you cannot impose a moral judgement without acknowledging a moral JUDGE! Now that they have said he should be allowed to dress like a girl, what will they say when he comes in one day saying he wants to dress like a baby, wearing only a diaper? Or what if he suddenly has no desire to dress at all? Where does it stop? Sadly, I feel it will not stop until the Lord returns to stop it, Himself! Even Governors are promoting it! California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently signed into law SB 777, making it unlawful to criticize homosexual, bi-sexual, and transsexual teachers. Isn’t it ironic that the world says we should each live by our own moral code. In other words, what is right for you might not be right for me and vice versa. But, at the same time, they are passing laws forcing us to conform to THEIR moral code (or lack thereof). On the one hand, they say there is NO absolute standard, but then by their actions, they are saying that THEIR standard is absolute. When there is no standard of morality, then we will do as men did in the days of the judges in the Bible. The Bible says in Judges 17:6 "In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Folks, we better pray hard and fervent for our country. More than ever we must train our children to seek after God. I do not want the "Terminator" telling me what I can and cannot believe....that is MY CHOICE!
